SC7 Adaptor Cable 3.5mm TRS to 1/8 inch male TRRS connector

The SC7 is a high-quality shielded patch cable, designed to allow the VideoMic GO and VideoMicro to connect to TRRS compatible devices such as the iPhone or iPad. The gold-plated contacts are colour coded, with grey indicating the TRRS output. The cable is colour matched to the red TRS to TRS cable that is supplied with the VideoMic GO and VideoMicro, and is easily fitted by inserting the TRS (black) jack into the rear of the microphone and the TRRS end (grey) into the smartphone or tablet.

Things to know about the SC7

  • PROFESSIONAL USE!: This cable replace Rode SC7 3.5mm TRS (3-pole) to TRRS (4-pole) Coiled Cable. It's designed to allow the BOYA Mic, Rode VideoMic/VideoMic GO/VideoMicro to connect with iPhone, iPad, Android phones and more. Great with Youtube Vlogging Facebook Livestream.
  • ATTENTION!: If you are using an iPhone with no 3.5mm jack (i.e., iPhone X), make sure that you are using the original Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter (or equivalent adapters that can be connected to a microphone). Most replacement lightning to 3.5mm adapters is not capable of connecting to a microphone. Similarly, if you are using an Android device with no 3.5mm jack, make sure that you are using a USB C to 3.5mm adapter that can be connected to a microphone.
  • HOW TO USE: Plug the grey head (3 rings or TRRS side) into the iPhone or mic/headset jack that requires a TRRS input, and the black one into the mic. Great for connecting recording microphones with 3.5 TRS input into Smartphones, iPhone and other electronic devices with a 3.5 TRRS jack.
  • WHAT YOU GET: 1 X Ancable 3.5mm TRS (Tip Ring Sleeve, 3-Pole) Male to 3.5mm TRRS (Tip Ring Ring Sleeve, 4-Pole) Male Coiled Mic Cable, up to 50cm long.
